Since its first production, Cotton has been a must-have part of the textile industry. Soft cotton fibre is widely used to make every type of clothing, from innerwear, socks, shirts, t-shirts, to sarees, salwar Kurtis and may more.
Because of its extreme softness and durability, cotton fibres are also used to make blankets, comforters, bed linens, cushions, etc.
Cotton is the most suitable fabric for a baby’s soft and delicate skin that’s why it is used to make soft baby diapers and baby wipes.
As cotton does not create any skin rashes and has quick water-soaking quality, high-quality hygiene pads, panty liners, towels, make-up removal pads are made of cotton.
High-quality cotton is used for surgical dressings and making bandages in hospitals, dispensaries and nursing homes.
As cotton is an important food and fibre crop, it is often used as a healthy food for cattle, and horses. Farmers make money by selling cotton in the market.
Cotton has several uses in our daily lives such as to make book binding, paper, and cottonseed oil is used to make cosmetics, soaps etc.
